Levan Lagazidze’s original script “The First Word
is Missing” was developed in the frames of AVANTI Program, under consultation
of Antoine Jaccoud. In April 2004 this project was awarded monetary grant for shooting.
After Levan’s tragic death (27 April 2004) draft was brought to the screens by his friends and colleagues.
Producers Lela Mosemghvdlishvili and Irakli Baghaturia have chosen as a director of the film Levan’s
close friend and successful young filmmaker Giorgi Tsikarishvili, whose input in the project became significant.
