Levan Lagazidze with his close friends founded association “Caucasian Arts Free Space (CAFS) in 2003.

 

The aim of this organization is to promote development of visual art in Caucasian region. Therefore the prior fields are Film and Photography. CAFS unites Georgian, Armenian and Azerian young and skilled professional and offers them unique chance to implement joint project throughout the region.

To achieve its main goal and develop film industry in Caucasian Region, CAFS systematically assists students from different film schools. It organizes contests, seminars, workshops and training opportunities for them.

CAFS one of the last projects is film festival “Sesili”, which aims to encourage young Georgian directors and facilitate rebirth of new Georgian cinema.

CAFS has already scheduled several innovative projects, which will be implemented in nearest future simultaneously in three border countries.
